Welcome back, Seeds4Hope Mentors!

We hope you had a restful and refreshing summer. As we return from our summer slowdown, we are excited to begin Year 2 of the Rising Leaders Mentorship Program and continue investing in the growth, confidence, and future of our Rising Leaders.

A special thank you to the mentors who continued meeting and staying connected with your assigned Rising Leader during the summer slowdown. Your consistency and encouragement are meaningful, and we appreciate the extra time and care you have continued to give.

Year 2 Theme: Self-Leadership & Career Readiness

Year 2 will focus on helping our Rising Leaders take greater ownership of their goals, recognize their growth, and develop practical skills for their future.

From September through May, Rising Leaders will work toward these key action items:

1. SMART Goal Progress Tracking

Rising Leaders will continue working toward their short- and long-term goals with you. Please help track and report their progress on your monthly mentor feedback form for us!

2. Resume & CV Workshop

Rising Leaders will learn how to develop a professional resume/CV and will submit a final resume as part of their Year 2 requirements.

3. Interview Workshop & Mock Interview

Rising Leaders will learn interview skills and participate in a Mock Interview in Action in the spring.

4. 10+ Hours of Volunteer Service

Each Rising Leader will complete at least 10 hours of volunteer service and submit an Impact Report reflecting on what they learned and the difference they made.

5. Storyboard #2: Growth & Project Story

Rising Leaders will create their second storyboard, highlighting their personal growth, experiences, accomplishments, and project journey.
