Welcome to June!

As we transition into summer, this month is centered on maintaining momentum, celebrating growth, and strengthening the meaningful connections you have built with your Rising Leader throughout the year. June is an opportunity to reflect on progress, acknowledge accomplishments, and support your Rising Leader in creating a plan to stay motivated and connected during the summer months.

Encourage your Rising Leader to recognize both the big achievements and the small wins that have contributed to her growth. Help her reflect on the goals she has worked toward, the challenges she has overcome, and the strengths she has developed along the way. Celebrating progress can be a powerful way to build confidence and reinforce a growth mindset shifting from “I’m not good at this” to “How can I get better?” By recognizing effort, persistence, and learning along the way, Rising Leaders can begin to view challenges as opportunities for growth rather than barriers to success.

This is also a great time to discuss summer plans and identify ways to continue nurturing your mentoring relationship. Whether through occasional check-ins, shared goals, or ongoing encouragement, maintaining connection can provide valuable support and consistency during the months ahead.

As we prepare for our Shine Into Summer Celebration on July 10th, we invite you to take time to reflect on your mentorship journey. Consider the growth you have witnessed, the meaningful moments you have shared, and the impact your Rising Leader has had on you throughout the year. We look forward to highlighting and celebrating these stories of connection, growth, and leadership. Please take a moment to review the requests posted in the Mentor Room on Google Classroom. Your willingness to show up, participate, and celebrate both yourself and your Rising Leader means so much and helps make this event a meaningful reflection of the incredible work and relationships built throughout the year.
