Welcome to April!

This month focuses on building connection through accountability, action, and celebrating small wins. As you continue strengthening your relationship with your Rising Leader, your role is to support, motivate, and help stay focused and encouraged in working toward her goals.

Invite her to share updates, successes, and any barriers she may be facing. Help build her confidence by highlighting growth, no matter how small. Celebrate effort, not just outcomes. Normalize that mistakes, setbacks, and adjustments are all part of the learning process. Growth takes time, and consistency matters more than perfection.

Continue fostering open communication and trust. If you notice low confidence, negative self-talk, or missed meetings, gently explore what may be getting in the way and reach out for support if needed.

As mentors, also take a moment to check in with yourselves. Ask, “How am I doing right now?” Your presence and well-being directly impact how you show up in this space. Practice self-compassion as you navigate this journey because you are learning and growing alongside your Rising Leader.
